Authorities in Pakistan have filed charges against 2 members of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in relation to the 2012 Ali Enterprises fire that claimed over 250 lives. The charge sheet, drafted following the report of a Joint Investigation Team (JIT), supports the claim that the fire was intentionally set. Police officials say they are evaluating whether or not the case can be tried under Pakistan’s Anti-Terrorism Act. (The Express Tribune)
