Bangladesh must focus on increasing efficiency and pushing out more value-added products if it hopes to achieve its goal of US$50 billion in exports by 2021, according to Atiqul Islam, the former head of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA).
