Indonesia’s Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy says that the country’s fashion industry can play a vital role in the growth of the country. Speaking at a recent Muslim fashion show, the minister noted that the country’s fashion industry is currently valued at about US$1.8 billion and is set to grow by 6%-8% this year. Leaders in the country are also hoping to turn the country into a global fashion hub by 2020.(Fibre2Fashion)
