Sri Lanka has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China to begin negotiations on a Free Trade Agreement. The agreement was finalized during the recent visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping to the country, the first by a Chinese Head of State in 28 years. Under the proposed agreement, all Sri Lankan-made apparel products would be able to enter China duty-free. (Fibre2Fashion)
