The Ghana Tailors and Dressmakers Association (GTDA) says that it plans to build a garment factory near the town of Koforidua aiming to provide more job opportunities for youth. The association says that it has acquired a 2-acre plot of land on which it plans to construct a 2-story building that would house production space, offices, and living quarters for key personnel. The GTDA hopes to use the facility as an opportunity for graduates of its training programs to practice the skills they have acquired. (Ghana News Agency)
