The Garment Manufacturers Association of Cambodia (GMAC) is asking foreign apparel brands who source from the country to pay more for their products. This comes after the group pushed its members to be more productive in an effort to keep the industry financially stable following the approval of an increased minimum wage. Prime Minister Hun Sen has also joined the conversation, warning that the country is facing increased price competition from nearby countries like Vietnam and Myanmar. (Fibre2Fashion)
