The government of Belarus has implemented a new law that requires all textile imports to have documents certifying that they comply with the regulations of the three-nation Customs Union, which also includes Russia and Kazakhstan. At least 50 female garment workers were injured on July 2 after the truck transporting them overturned on the way to a factory.
