A factory supervisor from China was killed after his facility caught fire during the pre-dawn hours of July 28. While firefighters were called to the scene promptly, the blaze had already done massive damage to the facility when they arrived. Officials in Cambodia are looking into the deaths of two garment workers who passed away earlier this month. One worker was found dead in the factory where he worked following a reported 13-hour shift while another died after she fainted while on the job. Over 190 workers at two separate factories fainted on July 26 & 27, reportedly overcome by foul odors. Workers began complaining of dizziness and vomiting caused by smells described as those of a poisonous chemical and many had to be hospitalized.
