Tanzania’s textile industry will be getting more investment from China thanks to increased performance by the industry. During a recent visit to the country, China’s Vice President lauded the progress of Tanzania’s textile industry, which has been fueled partly by previous Chinese investments and said that the country could expect upwards of US$2.4 billion from Chinese investors which could create up to 77,000 additional jobs.(Fibre2Fashion)
