Sportswear company Nike has finalized a deal with private equity firm Apollo Global Management to establish a new supply chain in the Americas. The move is part of a push by the company to bring production closer to its customer base in the same area. Apollo has already acquired a pair of U.S.-based companies as part of the move and is planning further acquisitions in North and Central America. (VAMP Footwear)
